TDR Academy's Treatments and 1:1s Available in Clinic
Following the Government announcements for therapists to return to work from 6th July 2020, Tanya has been very busy carrying out the risk assessment, undertaking the return to work COVID-19 course and preparing the clinic for re-starting. This has involved updating all our online platforms, website, Mindbody and social media etc to reflect the changes in the COVID-19 policies for return to work, and to ensure we are keeping everyone as safe as possible.
Following the Government announcements for therapists to return to work from 6th July 2020, Tanya has been very busy carrying out the risk assessment, undertaking the return to work COVID-19 course and preparing the clinic for re-starting. This has involved updating all our online platforms, website, Mindbody and social media etc to reflect the changes in the COVID-19 policies for return to work, and to ensure we are keeping everyone as safe as possible.
Appointments for these clinic sessions will now only be bookable through Tanya directly as initially those people that had to miss out on their booked session in March when everything was closed in lockdown, will be given priority to book in first. Tanya will also have to speak with you prior to booking to screen you for suitability of an in clinic appointment and will contact you the morning of the appointment to check that you are still able to attend based on your responses to a questionnaire re COVID-19.
At TDR Academy we are doing all we can to ensure your safety and our own. We will be applying all the safety precautions to ourselves that we are requesting you to apply to yourselves to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. When you book in, the email that will follow will outline everything that is applicable to attending the clinic for before, during and after your appointment.
When you get booked in, you can pre-purchase your booked session via the desktop version of Mindbody in the online store. This will reduce the contact points when you are in studio when payment is due. We prefer card payments via Mindbody, and if that isn’t possible a bank transfer could be made. Cash payment for the correct amount only will be accepted if card payment is not possible. An envelope will be provided for you to place the cash inside in this instance.
What we are doing:
On top of our normal clinic cleaning procedures, TDR Academy has introduced a number of additional hygiene measures to allow us to continue working within our community:
We have intensified our day-to-day cleaning.
We wipe banister rails, door handles, sanitising stations, light switches etc after each client leaves and before entry.
We now have paper towels and sterile hand wash - and our team are washing their hands more regularly.
We have introduced additional hand gel stations, which we ask students to use when they arrive and before they leave.
If our team have any symptoms, we will cancel any treatments or 1:1s as necessary.
We are taking everyone’s temperature when you attend. If you have an elevated temperature consistency with an illness or fever, we would unfortunately have to cancel your session, at no charge. We would suggest to follow the Government advice of self-isolating in this instance but monitor your symptoms and temperature daily and if persists to see or speak to your GP.
We will be wearing PPE in our sessions and these will be changed between every client.
We will maintain social distance for as long as possible and only treat areas deemed necessary in your session.
We are monitoring our procedures to see how we can improve on a daily basis.
We will email you with all the necessary details once your appointment is booked to ensure you are kept informed of our new practices.
Due to the new circumstances, I need you to complete a COVID-19 Pre Treatment record card to go alongside your record card that I have for you (existing clients) or need completed (new clients).
Please answer the questions the day before your appointment and text me that you have answered 'no' to each question, or if a 'yes' to any, I will need to speak to you the day before your appointment. If you feel that on the morning of your appointment that you may now answer 'yes' to any, please contact me to discuss suitability to attend. Further to this, I will ask you these questions again on entry to the clinic.
* First and foremost to check, for which I will send you a text the day before your appointment, is that you do not have any current symptoms of COVID-19 (see below) and that you have not knowingly been in contact with anyone that has COVID-19 or if you need to self-isolate. This also applies to the morning before your appointment. Please contact me as early as possible if you think you may be affected and need to self-isolate. There will be no charge for cancelling at this late stage as everyone’s safety if of the priority at present. I would ask for as much notice as possible however to ensure that the appointment could be taken by another client in need. Please note, if you are within any of the vulnerable person categories, you will not be able to receive an in person session without seeing your GP first for advice.
* If you have travelled home recently from a foreign country, please do not attend for a treatment until you have been home for 2 weeks to assess if you develop symptoms.
Coming to the Clinic:
We ask clients to wash your hands before and after visiting the clinic.
If you do feel unwell, we ask that you remain at home until feeling better.
If you display any of the COVID-19 symptoms, please do not visit our studio for at least 14 days.
Please wear a face covering when you enter the building and in the clinic.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle and drink regularly, and bring your own tissues.
Please bring your own gloves (for 1:1s for exercise) or your own towels (for a treatment - 2 large and 1 medium sized).
Please do not be attend with another individual for your appointment as they will not be permitted to enter.
Symptoms of COVID-19
The Most common symptoms which have been identified with the virus include:
Fever
Persistent dry cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Change (including loss) of taste and smell
Some sufferers have experienced others including:
Chest tightness
Muscle pain and fatigue
Sore throat
Congestion
Headache
Phlegm
Summary of Actions Needed:
Wash your hands before, during and after entry and do not touch your face
Wear PPE - face covering and if needed gloves
Catch It, Kill It, Bin It.
Maintain social distancing of 2m, or when necessary 1m+ when not required to be in close contact work with your therapist.
Stay at home if you have symptoms, are shielding, are or live with vulnerable people, have been in contact with someone that has COVID-19 or is self isolating, or if you have travelled abroad within the last 2 weeks.
We ask that all our clients and staff take the new health and safety very seriously, as one lapse could result in another spread of COVID-19, the ultimate disaster, which could in turn affect you, our staff, even close the whole clinic and as such have another lockdown on people’s lives, not to mention the possibility of much worse if it does affect your health.
We also ask for your patience at this time as we get used to the new working procedures - all above and beyond normal working practices!
We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops in line with advice from the Government and relevant health authorities and issue updates at such times.
Together we can all maintain a responsible and cautious approach to limiting the spread of this virus and protecting the more vulnerable members of our society whilst keeping a positive attitude.

In a typical treatment session the assessment and post treatment advice covers about half of a session normally and all the information and testing is hugely beneficial to start you on the road to healing.
The more self care of your own body management you take, the quicker you recover, within the confines of specific tailored advice to improve and monitor the recovery and development progress.
Whether it is an acute or chronic injury, or a chronic pain inducing and movement restricting condition, Tanya can:
Assess you to establish what is the best current advice to apply at home to help speed up the recovery
Advise on self treatment methods to apply yourself to alleviate symptoms
Plan and lead you through specifically tailored advice and exercises to enable improvement in your range of movement and functional capability to aid recovery
Plan an exercise plan to encourage correct muscle firing patterns, to reduce tight and painful muscles and other soft tissues, to strengthen to enforce good movement patterns - ultimately to build the body up to aid recovery back to normal activities of daily living (ADLs) and to enable return to any exercise methods of choice at any level.
Provide you with the necessary tools for independant self care and body management through knowing WHAT TO DO and HOW TO DO IT.

Injury and Pain Management Assessment, Treatment, Rehabilitation and Advice Sessions - this can be for any issues or injuries relating to muscle, tendon, ligament, joint and neural tissues.
Self Care Advice 1:1s and 2:1s (what is best practice for you)
Relaxation and Meditation
Personal Training ( in any area of our expertise)
Pilates Equipment 1:1s and 2:1s (if you have the equipment at home to be taught on, for example a reformer)
Pilates Mat 1:1s and 2:1s
Yoga as Medicine or Yin Yoga 1:1s and 2:1s
Aerial Fitness, Aerial Yoga and Pilates 1:1s and 2:1s (if you have the equipment at home, for example, a hoop, trapeze, yoga hammock or pole)

Our class timetable is running as normal via our new live online platform - Zoom Cloud Meetings app. The feedback has been great - to help keep you moving and keep you sane!
We have NEW Stability Ball Core and Total Body Workout class scheduled on Mondays at 7.30pm.
All classes are signed into as normal - via our booking software Mindbody, which you can access via our website links (black link at the tope of any page) to login or create an account. Simply sign up to a class on the timetable and pay online.
You can sign up to a 6 week pass with us or PAYG. All passes can be used within a 6 week period in any class thats available, whether 1 class a week for 6 wks, or 6 classes in 1 week! You choose!

Weekend Classes
Keep an eye out for our weekend donation based classes.
These have been advertised through our website workshop pages and on social media - primarily Facebook and Instagram.
These sessions vary from: Yin Yoga, the Not So Easy Stretch Class and others coming soon!
To be able to take part in the classes - you will need:
A device (phone, tablet, laptop or computer) with a camera (and a microphone) to be able to join in, although you can join in with audio only also if you don’t have a camera. If you want your teacher to see you to be able to offer advice and alignment cues - you need a camera.
Position your camera (in selfie mode to test it) in such a way as we can see as much of you as possible on screen. We can help advise you when you sign in to be sure we see you.
Ensure you device is fully charged or that you can be plugged in - so we don’t lose you!
Try to wear different coloured clothing to your background so we can see you!
A stability ball if joining this class - ask Tanya for advice if you need to purchase one online.
All our other classes are planned without using props, but if you have any at home, then place them near you and we can prompt you to use them if we see them - if they may be helpful.

Our current timetable is now live and online - streamed straight into your home to keep you fit and well over the next number of weeks. We are also offering online consultations at a reduced rate to our usual in clinic prices. We know these are difficult times and we want to help how we can. More news will be announced soon on new classes and videos coming soon. If you have anything you would like help with, let us know and we will try to get you a video on this! We are here to help!

Classes
Our classes at TDR Academy are running as normal via our new live online platform - Zoom Cloud Meetings app.
Our classes have been running since Monday 23rd March are set to continue until the government advice changes to allow us to open our doors safely for everyone again.
All classes are signed into as normal - via our booking software Mindbody, which you can access via our website links (black link at the tope of any page) to login or create an account. Simply sign up to a class on the timetable and pay online.
You can sign up to a 6 week pass with us or PAYG. All passes can be used within a 6 week period in any class thats available, whether 1 class a week for 6 wks, or 6 classes in 1 week! You choose!
You can still book and amend any bookings online, or if any issues contact Tanya on 07879415711.

To be able to take part in the classes - you will need:
A device (phone, tablet, laptop or computer) with a camera (and a microphone) to be able to join in, although you can join in with audio only also if you don’t have a camera. If you want your teacher to see you to be able to offer advice and alignment cues - you need a camera.
Position your camera (in selfie mode to test it) in such a way as we can see as much of you as possible on screen. We can help advise you when you sign in to be sure we see you.
Ensure you device is fully charged or that you can be plugged in - so we don’t lose you!
Try to wear different coloured clothing to your background so we can see you!
All our classes are planned without using props, but if you have any at home, then place them near you and we can prompt you to use them if we see them - if they may be helpful.
We are looking forward to seeing you on your mat! This is a fun new approach to keeping you moving in these exceptional times. For your physical and mental health - we want to keep your routine going and help how and when we can. We are here for you.
As TDR Academy focusses on movement and treatments - we are having to adapt each aspect of the services and this is taking time to update the technology. Please bear with us through this transition period!

Sad face - In response to the daily changing environment - all classes are now closed for the foreseeable future at the studio. We will miss our (occasional) blue sky view from the studio!
Happy face - We will be getting online interactive classes up and running very soon - hoping to start with just a few amendments to the timetable only. This is all subject to change based on government advice. However we will try to continue to look after you as best we can taking all necessary measures for cleaning, hygiene and safety. We ask that you follow all advice upon entering the premises:
Use the hand gel provided on entry before ascending the stairs.
Be prepared to make payment via card preferably to reduce contact again.
Do not attend if you have any symptoms of fever or a cough.
Do not attend if you have been in contact with someone that has symptoms or is needing to isolate, until you are free of symptoms for 14days.
Cancel at the earliest point if you cannot attend, to enable us to have time to allocate the appointment to another client.

What you can do:
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
Put used tissues in the bin straight away
Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
Wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
Anyone with a new, continuous cough or high temperature (37.8 degrees and above) is advised to self-isolate for seven days
If you are worried about symptoms, please call your GP. Do not go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment.
What we are doing:
On top of our normal studio cleaning procedures, TDR Academy has introduced a number of additional hygiene measures to allow us to continue working within our community:
We have intensified our day-to-day cleaning of the Studio
We wipe banister rails, door handles etc each day with alcohol based wipes. Current advice is that the virus does not live long exposed on dry porous surfaces (like blankets, bolsters) and anti-baterical wipes don't work against a virus
We now have paper towels and sterile hand wash - and our team are washing their hands more regularly
We have introduced additional hand gel stations, which we ask students to use when they arrive and before they leave
If our team have any symptoms, we will cancel any classes or treatments at the earliest notice possible
Coming to the Clinic and Home Practice for Your Mat:
We ask clients to wash your hands before and after visiting the clinic and your mat and to clean the mat that is being used before and after use.
If you do feel unwell, we ask that you remain at home and self isolate until feeling better
If you display any of these symptoms, please do not visit our clinic for at least 14 days.
Please remember to have your own water bottle and drink regularly, eg every 15 minutes minimum, and bring your own tissues.
For those clients affected by any possible school closures, please do not bring your children to the clinic..

Coronavirus Precautions at TDR Academy
We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops in line with advice from the Government and relevant health authorities and issue updates at such times. We will remain open until then as we work on a 1:1 in our treatment sessions and have a maximum of 9:1 ratio in our classes. Follow the advice as we will. If you have any symptoms - stay home and stay safe!
It's a worrying time both locally and globally with the coronavirus illness now being described as a pandemic. So we thought we'd share some of the advice and information, and let you know what we're doing.
We really believe that what we're offering here at TDR Academy is worth so much in terms of general mental and physical health, and that we're here to help our Tribe over the coming weeks.
Symptoms of coronavirus and COVID19:
a cough
a high temperature
shortness of breath
But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness.
The symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as cold and flu.
How it’s spread:
An infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has had a virus on it, and then touching their own mouth, nose or eyes. However, this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.
Most people who contract COVID-19 are thought to show mild or very few symptoms. Common symptoms include fever, cough, and / or shortness of breath.
What you can do:

It's Newbie Season at TDR Academy of Movement and Therapy
We want you to feel the difference that both Yoga and Pilates can have for your body and mind!

Maybe you’re getting niggles and weaknesses, or are dealing with injuries or getting back issues? Do you need to work on the smaller muscles to improve your other training activities and boost your mobility? Then, Pilates is for you!

One thing we hear a lot is that people are put off going to classes in gyms and larger studios as they’ve either hurt themselves or don’t learn how to do the movements correctly. Our focus here is on helping you learn these movements and how they feel in your body so that you can keep good technique as much and as often as possible. We’ll help you learn when you are out of alignment and how to correct or modify for the best effect and safe progression.
We are small in size and mighty - the smallest class sizes around - with you as our focus. Our classes are suitable for various levels and attended by both males and females. We provide constant attention to help your movement practice as we coach - we don't do the class - we watch you and keep you the focus! We also encourage a bit of craic too - all exercise needs to be fun!

New Beginners Pilates Class Starting 26th September!
Our new Pilates Beginners Class is starting on Thursday 26th September at 11am. Sign up now to start your Pilates Method journey as this class is suitable for injuries, back care and also post natal. New Beginners Pilates Class
We have a new Pilates Beginners 6 week class starting on Thursday 26th September at 11am (subject to numbers).
This class is suitable for anyone that is new to Pilates or is wanting to recap their fundamentals.
We also cater for those suffering from injuries and back pain, and are post natal (6wks post natural birth and 12wks post C-Section).
It’s at the perfect time to get sorted in your mornings, kids to school, do the shop run and then take an hour for yourself before hitting life again!
We plan for 6 weeks to ensure you learn each Pilates fundamental and have time to learn and feel the difference of the Pilates Method.

The 6 week class pass is £53 for the smallest and most personalised classes you will find in Ballyclare and we offer catch classes if life gets in the way within the 6 weeks and some online support to help you with home practice to deepen the benefits.

Well, what a busy summer it’s been!
We are delighted that the recent renovations to the Studio and the building are complete and we think you’ll agree, if you have been in with us, that the place looks much smarter and crisper with the new paintwork. So, thanks for your patience while the work was being done.

Firstly, Tanya is celebrating 21 years this summer as a fully qualified sports injury therapist! (We know, she doesn’t look old enough…!) Tanya has worked with clients ranging from Commonwealth and world class athletes to the Royal Ballet; from world circus performers to New Zealand's and England’s world class women’s rugby teams; and young athletes from various sports! Not to mention all of you that cross our doors daily to help you on your daily quests in your sometimes mad endeavours! We love the enthusiasm and effort you all put in! Don't stop moving!!

July Holidays Update

TDR Academy is closing for just a few days!
It’s been a mad busy month for so many people and I’m sure - like us - you’re looking forward to some time off with long school holidays stretching out ahead of us.
July Holidays
Please note that there will be no classes during the week of the 8th - 12th July - to give you time to get out exploring!
The Academy will be closed completely only from 9th to 14th July.
Appointments for Injury Therapy, 1:1s and Sports Massage
Tanya will be taking appointments up until 5th July and will be back on the 15th July, and then again up to 19th July and back 26th July.
While Gary will be taking appointments up until 8th July and will be back on the 25th July.

Yin yoga workshop on 15th July
Because it’s so popular, Tanya’s holding another yin yoga workshop on Monday 15th July 7.30-9.30pm - a great wee treat to yourself after the holiday week. Take the time to enhance your self awareness, tune your insight and access your own inner wisdom. Yin is about the feeling and involves “unhurried postures unstained by striving” (Sarah Powers). Lisburn Half Marathon on 19th June
Amazing news! Gary and his colleagues were at the Lisburn Half Marathon last week supporting the runners by providing recovery advice and pre and post event sports massage for all runners entered - and all for a good cause!
They raised £72.20 on the night for the MS Society NI, bringing the total we've raised for this brilliant charity to over £600!!!

Lisburn Half Marathon - Let us help you prepare and recover!
We’re delighted to say that Gary and his colleagues will be there supporting the runners at this year’s Lisburn Half Marathon by providing recovery advice and pre AND post event sports massage from 5.30-9.30pm for all runners entered.
Are you taking part in next week’s Lisburn Half Marathon on 19th June? It’s the ‘Flat & Fast’ route again this year for the half marathon and the 10k road race, perfect for runners aiming for personal bests, whether you’re an experienced competitive runner or a beginner. The 3k Fun Run is the race of choice if you want to run with family and friends and take part in the whole marathon experience!

Spaces are limited and last just 10-15mins (depending on numbers).

Ballyclare's May Fair is coming to town next week!
We’ve got the Ballyclare May Fair coming to town next week and there’s the big races on Saturday 25th May. Come to TDR for some pre- and post- race massages and make the most of our special 10% off our usual massage price to help you recover after your running!
Another year has flown by and Ballyclare May Fair is back on Tuesday 21st May through to Saturday 25th! Will you be coming over to take a dander and join in the fun?
You can find out what’s happening on the Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council’s website - which lets you know about the horse fair, local music and entertainment and the traditional craft demonstrations and workshops. The not-to-be-missed Soapbox Derby race returns on Thursday 23rd May, while the May Fair Parade is on Saturday with its fireworks finale
The Big Race!
One of the highlights for us is the Mayfair 10k Race and 5k Fun Run, organised by the Co. Antrim Harriers on Saturday 25th May 2019 at 10.00am. There’s still time to book before entries close on Sunday 19th May.
Having supported the event each year since it started, Gary and Tanya are both away that weekend so TDR Academy won’t be among the therapists offering their usual advice and post event sports massage on the day. BUT don’t worry, you can still come to us for pre- and post- race massages and support at the TDR Academy clinic in The Square.
Special Offer!
And as a special offer and to support our athletes, anyone that enters any of the races will get a 10% off any massages and treatments for up to two weeks afterwards!! How cool is that?! (You’ll just need to bring proof of entry when you attend to avail of the discount). Offer ends on Monday 10th June 2019, inclusive.
And, while we’re talking about running, we’re so proud of Gary, who completed the Belfast Marathon with an amazing time of 3:09:08. Huge well done from TDR! Awesome time!
Getting Parked Next Week!
All classes and appointments are as normal all week - just allow a little more time for parking. The Council tell us that:
From 9.30am on Tuesday 21st May to 12am on Sunday 26th May, Harrier Way car park and street will be closed to traffic.
Tuesday 21st May - Due to the May Fair taking place, the Main Street will be closed from 9.30am to 5.30pm from Avondale Drive to the Square.
Thursday 23rd May - The Ballyeaston Road will be closed from 5.30pm to 8.30pm to facilitate the Soapbox Derby Race. Cars should not park on the road during the day to allow for set up. Signage will be in place.
The Square Car Park will also be closed on Tuesday 21st May and Saturday 25th May and will be partially open throughout the May Fair Festival on other days.
Limited free parking spaces will be available at Sixmile Leisure Centre from Sunday 19 May through until Sunday 26 May to facilitate the May Fair amusements.
The public should use the local Presbyterian Church car parks off the Doagh Road throughout the Festival and on Saturday 25th May, additional car parking is available at Ballyclare High School.

New Park Run coming to Ballyclare
If you’ve caught the running bug, then you’ll be delighted to know the ParkRun is coming to Ballyclare! So grab your trainers and join in on Saturday 1st June, starting at the SixmilewaterBridge at 9.30am. This weekly event is a 5km route and open to everyone, and it’s free.
So whether you’re enjoying the activities or taking part in the races, we hope you have a great week. We love the vibe in our wee town during the May Fair and look forward to hearing all about it when you come in for your massages an other sessions!

Help Your Recovery from the Belfast Marathon - no matter what your distance
Help get yourself rcovered from the Belfast Marathon - no matter what your distance. At TDR Academy of Movement & Therapy - we can help! We’re offering special stretch class on Wednesday 8th specially designed for runners and Gary will be on hand post event massages Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
Sunday 5th May has been a date in many people’s diaries for a long time now. With approximately 5,000 entries, this year’s Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon was another amazing day for everyone!
The brand new route, covered all four corners of the city, with options for runners to take part in the 26.2 mile marathon individually or as a team relay, a 9 mile walk and a 2.5 mile Fun Run - so there was something to suit all abilities. The marathon started at Stormont, worked it’s way through North, East, South and West of Belfast, and finish at Ormeau Park. Organisers promised a flatter and faster route, to help with some PBs this year.
So, how’s your training been going? What’s your recovery and self care routines? Did you make the most of the all important taper? As you know, the tapering phase is a critical part of your marathon training. During these last couple of weeks, you should have cut back your mileage to give your body and mind a chance to rest, recover, and prepare for your marathon.
Stuart Kennedy, Official Marathon Coach for this year’s marathon said recently:
“I have found myself being very busy giving advice over the past week since the taper has started. This is the time to keep calm and trust your training. There’s something I do when I coach individuals. When I run up a very steep hill with an athlete I get them to look back at the hill they have just climbed & instead of focusing on feeling tired they focus on what they have just achieved. This is what I want you all to do, think of all the months of training you have done to this point, the LSR, the hill sessions, the faster paced runs, the races. The times you dragged yourself out of the house when all you wanted to do was sit in front of the TV and eat your dinner. Focus on what you have achieved on this marathon journey so far. Keep your thoughts positive, you are amazing.”

Alana has a special #TotalBodyStretch class coming up where she'll be paying particular attention to the appropriate #muscles for #running.
These classes are very specific and personal - only 5 spaces are available and at £8.50 payg - the best value personal training!
6.30pm Wednesday 8th May - will focus on recovery of the muscles that feel the tightest post run.
Wherever you're tight, Alana will focus on these areas to make the class specific to you! These will much more effective stretches than what you would do yourself left alone at home!
And, Gary is also available for post event sports massages - he ran the full Marathon himself so knows exactly what you’re going through and what you need! He even managed to clock a great time of 3m11s for the marathon! Well done Gary - the training and prep and recovery throughout all went well!
He’s available on:
Mondays daytime (not 6th may though!), and Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Finally! It’s been a long few months with Easter being so late this year - the Christmas and even the half term holidays seem so long ago, and we’re all more than ready for some down time with the long weekend and school holidays ahead of us.

April Yin Yoga Workshop
You'll be pleased to hear that we have our next yin yoga workshop on Wednesday 24th April at 7-9pm. To practice Yin is to bring forth the values of softening, patience, kindness, compassion, acceptance, surrendering and non-striving - which ties is very much with the meaning of Easter. Easter & May Day Closures - Classes
Please note that there will be no classes from Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th April inclusive for the Easter week.
All classes are back firing on all cylinders from Monday 29th April.
Then all classes will also be off Monday 6th May for the Bank Holiday.
Easter & May Day Closures Treatments
Tanya is available as usual, except Saturday 20th through to Easter Monday 22nd. Then she’s taking some time out from Friday 27th April to Monday 6th May inclusive.
Gary’s treatments are only unavailable over the Easter week - 22-28th April.
You can book online and search for any available appointments or contact Tanya directly (try online as definitely the quickest way to book as Tanya can't always get back straight away). Various times are available to suit.
Bank Holiday Weekend & May Day Monday
There will be no treatments available and all and classes will be off on Monday 6th May for the Bank Holiday.
If you’re needing your a TDR Academy fix over the weekend, then on Saturday 4th May there’s Alana's Saturday sessions:
Beginners Aerial Hoop 9.45am-11am, and
Total Body Stretch 11.15am-12.15am
