Bank Holiday Break & September Update

What a warm and wet summer!


Thank you for all your concern regarding my poor flooded car Bertha from the floods in Ballyclare a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully I have now been able to replace her with a new Bert! Insurance thankfully has kicked in! It's been a mad time!

With the last throws of summer left and schools starting back next week, it seemed appropriate to take a break as we just don't know what lies ahead. Busy schedules I'm thinking for the next few weeks for sure!

So the quick update:

  • Classes are off from Wed 25th Aug, returning back on Wed 1st Sept.

  • The clinic is closed from 25th Aug and reopens again on 31st Aug.

  • Remember that you can use the Mindbody booking system via your web browser for the full site or through the app to book and change your classes and appointments as needed.

Classes Update

  • If you are currently attending classes - can you please check your Mindbody account that you have completed the emergency contact person and contact number sections. This will update the system just in case (heaven forbid) something happens to you when you are on screen! Please check this asap thanks. (This can't be done in the APP, so login via the black link at the top of any page on my website tdracademy.co.uk.)

  • When back in the studio September, we are able to have 3 back in the studio for classes, unless social distancing changes again. You must contact me to book in for IN STUDIO as places are limited. Attendance will be on a rota basis if numbers wishing to attend are over 3.

  • If you wish to change to in studio from at home classes, please let me know as soon as possible as plans are being out in place and rota systems for those wishing to attend.

  • If you know you definitely want to stay online permanently going forward, please let Tanya know this also - as this will impact on how many spaces each class can have going forward.

If you fancy a little challenge over the break - why not delve into some of the YouTube videos. There is something for improving mobility, challenging your core and stability, developing strength and stretching you out. If you are affected by any injuries or need some quiet time, the Body Management and meditative Yoga videos would hopefully have something for you too.

Remember - the TDR Academy YouTube Channel has a lot of videos to choose from for Yoga with the Ulster Orchestra, Pilates, Yoga, Stretching, Body Management Tips and some Body Conditioning. Varied durations and intentions within the videos to keep you moving, mobile, active and to release tension both physically and mentally.

The 14 Day Reset, Rebalance and Reignite is there for you to work through, and whether you have worked through it already or dipped in and out, or if you haven’t seen it - why not check it out and commit the 2 weeks over the 12th to yourself by starting the journey with me again.

You will feel better, more body aware, more mobile and challenged posturally and with movement. Get at it!
