Restore & Flow Yoga with Tanya from Monday 5th September 8.30-9.30pm for 6 consecutive weeks
Our lives are busy and in these current and past times, life is stressful. It is easy to get dragged down physically and mentally with everything that our modern lives brings, but it is in these times that we need something that will help to nourish our bodies and minds.
This Yin and Yang Yoga practice will focus on bringing a sense of balance to how you feel and your energy levels with movements to restore and bring a much needed energy flow back to your body and mind.
We will focus on breath work, relaxation and mindful to allow for opening of the tight areas of the body whilst delving and building soft and slow short Vinyasa flows as our Yang practice. These passive and active combinations can bring welcome releases in the body!
Suitable for everyone whether starting their first practice into Yoga, or have been practicing for a while and want to go slow to develop a deeper connection. This class may be adapted to suit for some injuries or movement restrictions (contact Tanya prior if anything is affecting you to discuss suitability).
Beginners Pilates Fundamentals with Tanya from Thursday 8th September 10-11am AND/OR 7.30-8.30pm for 6 consecutive weeks
Pilates is a movement system which works the body in a variety of ways to strengthen and lengthen the muscles in a functional way by focussing on the stabilising system initially which supports the larger muscles for whatever you want them to do after that.
This 6 week course will focus on the main concepts of Pilates to bring you a sense of each concept and how it develops your body and mind with intentional movement practice. You will feel benefits in your posture, feeling more open, fuller breath, more connected to your body, your core, and aware of your movements and mobility.
Suitable for everyone whether starting your first class in Pilates, or whether you have been practicing for a while and want to go slow to develop a deeper connection with a reminder of the basic concepts. These classes can be adapted for many injuries and movement restrictions. Contact Tanya prior if anything is affecting you to discuss suitability.

As ever with all our classes, modifications will be given as needed, though if you have any injuries or issues, please contact Tanya prior to see if each of our classes are suitable for you.
Mats available in studio and also for live and online home practice
Booking is really easy via the MINDBODY app. Any problems or health issues, contact Tanya on 07879415711 or info@tdracademy.co.uk
You’ll need to book to secure your mat for in studio practice as places are limited, and also for online places
Recordings of the session are emailed to you after the practice for you to download and repeat at home again as often as you wish
