Privacy & Commitment to Data Security Policy

  • Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized staff, employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from our sites allow you to opt out of further mailings, and are only sent to you if you opt in from the website or from the health forms completed when you first attended TDR Academy.

  • TDR Academy will never sell trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organization.

  • If there are any requests for your personal information, we will always inform you and obtain your proof of information release before disclosing any information.

Informed Consent & Liability Waiver

Within all documents and information Tanya Ross | TDR Academy of Movement & Therapy are referred to in short as TDR Academy but apply to Tanya Ross | TDR Academy of Movement & Therapy throughout.

All relevant Health Recording Forms, Par-Q and Assumption of Risk Records , Consent Forms and GDPR forms must be completed online or in writing in full when you attend TDR Academy for the first time and you must agree to keep us informed in the event of any changes. This enables GDPR compliance for your safety and security of information.

Assumption of Risk and Consents at TDR Academy (TDR)

“In attending and completing the requested forms, I hereby state and agree that I have read, understood and answered honestly the questions above and that the information is up-to-date, true and correct. I will notify the therapist/teacher in the event of any changes at any time to my personal details or health background.

I agree to and am voluntarily willing to proceed with any treatment plan, exercise plan, 1 to 1 instruction and/or class participation (in person or online), and agree to follow any advice given. This relates to sessions that may include bodywork treatments, rehabilitation exercise, aerobic exercise, resistance and bodyweight exercise, aerial fitness, meditation and stretching (or any sessions taken at TDR).

I realise these activities may involve risk of injury and even the possibility of death. I acknowledge that exercise and treatment are not substitutes for medical advice. I confirm that I am voluntarily engaging in any session and it is my duty to use due care when receiving treatment and/or carrying out any exercise/movement and to use matting when performing particular skills that present any risk.

I will also pace myself during the session, and if at any time I feel excessive discomfort or pain, any negative feelings or reactions that I will stop the activity and notify the therapist/teacher. I will then modify if advised to do so or stop completely.

In exchange for authority to participate in TDR Academy sessions, I hereby grant the following release from liability and negligence: I release and hold harmless TDR Academy, it’s instructors, personal trainers, therapists, officers, directors, employees, agents, landlords and leases (hereafter the ‘related parties’) from any and all liability for injury to my person or property caused by, in any manner, my participation in any TDR Academy session.”

  • We operate on a 12 hour cancellation policy on all group classes and 24 hours on private sessions.

  • All class purchases must be booked in and paid for immediately as payment secures your place in that specific class.

  • Part used purchases are non-refundable. (See the Cancellation Policy for early and late cancellation conditions.)

  • Clients cannot split or share purchases.

  • Purchases cannot be transferred to another client.

  • Clients cannot share accounts.

  • Clients can purchase a class for another client by adding them as a family member or friend.

  • Clients cannot attend classes if booked under a different name, and this includes family members.

  • TDR Academy reserves the right to change the teacher where emergency cover is required, or host a class online instead of in studio as need arises.

  • Classes are not sold with a guarantee of a specific teacher taking certain classes.

  • A 5% discount applies to over 70s, and 8% discount applies to over 75s for all treatment appointments only if not working in any capacity and have a form of proof.

  • Only 1 discount or offer is applicable at the time of a single purchase or purchase of any package or block of classes.

  • We do not offer refunds or returns, but in the event of early cancellations, the amount will be credited to your account for use within the advised expiry period (see the Cancellation Policy).

  • In only exceptional circumstances where a refund is granted, there is a £10 processing fee due to administrative time and incurred fees.

  • Monthly recurring purchases cannot be extended and credits cannot be used once expired (out of the month of purchase).

  • In monthly recurring memberships, you pay for 4 weeks of passes. As some months have 5 passes, you will have credit on your account to take advantage of the extra class at no additional cost. This levels up the balance affecting classes closed over any holiday periods over the course of the year. As a result, no additional class passes are due to be added to your accounts for holiday period closures.

If you access and use this Site, you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms. If you do not accept the Terms, do not use the Site.

• General

o All products and services of TDR Academy and its subsidiaries and affiliates are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable agreements governing their use.

o The Terms are to be read by you together with any terms, conditions or disclaimers provided in the pages of the Site. In the event of any conflict, the terms provided in the pages of the Site will govern.

o The information, material and content provided in the pages of the Site (the "Information") may be changed at any time without notice. Changes may be made to the Terms at any time without notice by updating this posting. You agree to review the Terms regularly and your continued access or use of the Site will mean that you agree to any changes.

• Internet E-Mail

o Any unprotected E-Mail communication over the Internet is, as with communication via any other medium (e.g. cellular phones, post office mail), not confidential, subject to possible interception or loss, and is also subject to possible alteration.

• No Endorsements

o No endorsement or approval of any third parties or their advice, opinions, information, products or services is expressed or implied by any Information.

• Links/Software

o Links from or to websites or apps outside the Site are meant for convenience only. TDR Academy does not review, endorse, approve or control, and is not responsible for any sites linked from or to the Site, the content of those sites, the third parties named therein, or their products and services. Linking to any other site is at your sole risk and TDR Academy will not be responsible or liable for any damages in connection with linking. Links to downloadable software sites are for convenience only and TDR Academy is not responsible or liable for any difficulties or consequences associated with downloading the software. Use of any downloaded software is governed by the terms of the license agreement, if any, which accompanies or is provided with the software.

• Payment for Products & Services

o All Credit Cards will be processed in Great British Pounds Sterling at the time of payment. TDR Academy is not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies.

o Any monies paid to TDR Academy which are placed on account in your client account with Goteamup are linked to Stripe online payment provider. If there are any monies unused towards a payment or if monies have been added for future use in your account, any payments to be taken will take the funds from the Stripe account first before taking a payment from the credit or debit card registered on your account. If no cards are registered, payment will be asked for to complete the outstanding payment.

 

Purchase Policy

By clicking to purchase anything from TDR Academy you are confirming you have read and accepted all our terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

  • Early cancellation: Appointments - you must cancel 24 hours before the start time of your booking to incur no charge or loss of account credits. Classes/workshops - the time period is 12 hours prior.

  • Late cancellation: is when you cancel after the times applicable in early cancellations above or if you do not turn up or arrive late to class (i.e. 10 mins after the class start time and being refused entry). This results in the full amount being deducted from your account or a credit or pass being used.

  • You can cancel by using the booking system or our App, which will ensure the time of cancellation applies to your booking.

  • You can alternatively contact us by phone or email to discuss the cancellation, which may not be as prompt and as such the session isn't cancelled until you receive the official email notification. Please note that if this results in the timing being after the required advance cancellation requirement, you will incur the full cancellation fee.

  • ALL CLASS PASSES and TREATMENT OR 1:1 SESSION PASSES HAVE AN EXPIRY DATE. Credits and passes MUST BE USED BEFORE THEY EXPIRE. We regret that out of date passes CANNOT be extended or used to attend any services.

  • Please note - we are unable to process refunds so credit is applied to your account for use on another occasion.

Drop In, Block Bookings & Recurring Payments Expiries

  • Drop In Passes - must be used within 30 days of the date of the initial booking.

  • 6 Week Class Passes - must be used within 41 days of the date of the first class attended.

  • Monthly Membership/Recurring Payments - must be used within the month when payment was applied, eg a May payment, all passes must be used within the month of May.

  • Treatment/1:1 Appointment Passes - must be used within 4 months of date of purchase.

  • Packs of 3 Treatment/1:1 Appointment Passes - must be used within 6 months.

  • Packs of 6 Treatment/1:1 Appointment Passes - must be used within 12 months.

TDR Academy Returns/Refunds

  • We do not offer refunds or returns, but in the event of early cancellations, the relative amount will be credited to your account for use within the advised expiry period (see the Cancellation Policy).

  • In exceptional circumstances, where a refund is granted, there is a £10 processing fee.
