Mindfulness Workshop - Being in the Now
Are you interested in learning and building mindfulness practices into your life?
TDR will be hosting this 2hr workshop lead by Veronica Ellis, of of Mindfulness Connected Learning, on Sat 3rd Mar 2018. The session will be from:
- 9.30am -11.30am
The workshop is suitable for both experienced practitioners and those new to mindfulness.
During the workshop you will find out what mindfulness is by experiencing a variety of mindfulness practices. You will learn about a variety of mindfulness practices, for example:
- sitting meditation,
- bodyscan practice,
- walking meditation and
- mindful movement practice.
It is also an opportunity to meet with like-minded people and explore the benefits of mindfulness as well as difficulties that arise in the practice.
To help you remember what you have learned, you will receive a practice list of information to take away with you, and also a CD to help you further continue your practice at home to make full use of what you learn to extend the benefits of the training.
When attending, wear warm comfortable clothing, and if preferred you can bring some water with you. This is not an exercise session, and is focussed on relaxation.
There are a limited number of places available in each workshop and as such you are only booked in once you have prepayed to secure your place.
